This painting was inspired by the pursuit of the ever elusive happiness.
Happiness lives in the now, not some place or time in the future that we’re trying to get to when everything is perfect. A lot of the time, those moments are already happening around us, but we miss them because there’s always something else going on or something else we’re working toward.
Happiness is recognizing those moments while we’re in them.
