What makes an original painting different from a print?
An original painting is the one and only version — made by hand, full of texture, brushstrokes, and color you can only see in person.
A print is a high-quality reproduction of that artwork. It lets more people enjoy the image without the cost of owning the original.
Will prints be made of an original painting?
Possibly. While each original painting is one-of-a-kind and will never be recreated, the artist may produce limited or open edition prints from the original image. The original remains the master work from which all reproductions are derived.
What is a giclée print?
A giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a fine art print made with archival inks on heavyweight, museum-quality paper. The colors are rich and accurate, and the materials are made to last for decades. If you’re looking for something as close as possible to the original painting, a giclée is it.
How is a giclée different from a regular print?
Studio prints are more like posters — printed on standard paper with regular inks. They look great, they’re more affordable, but they’re not made for long-term archival quality.
Giclée prints, on the other hand, use fine art printers, pigment inks, and museum-grade paper. They’re built to last and made for collectors.
All giclée prints are signed and part of a limited edition. Once they’re sold out, they’re gone.
Studio prints are open edition and may include a printed signature instead of a hand-signed one.
How are prints shipped?
Smaller prints are packed flat with a backing board and sleeve. Larger prints are rolled in a sturdy tube.
Do you offer framing?
Not right now. I ship prints unframed so you can choose something that fits your space and style.
Do you take commissions?
Yes — I take on a limited number of commissions each year.

A deposit is required to secure your spot on the schedule. The remaining balance is due once the piece is complete and ready to ship or deliver.
